Ctrl + V Shortcut Key Is Used For

The keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V is used to paste copied or cut text, images, or other objects to a new location in your Word document. After copying or cutting content with the Ctrl + C or Ctrl + X shortcuts, you can use Ctrl + V to paste the copied or cut content to a different part of your document, or to another document or application.

When you press Ctrl + V, the content that you previously copied or cut is inserted at the current cursor location in your document. If the content includes formatting or other attributes, such as font style or size, these attributes will be pasted along with the content. You can use additional keyboard shortcuts or the Paste Options button that appears after pasting to control how the pasted content is formatted.
